tom foxToday I had a new hot water system put in as my current one was 16 yo and went kaput. I will say "same day trades" were quick to respond, to see what was required to be done. SD trades installed the old unit. Thank you Derek, for explaining what had happened and discussing taps. Installation was organised for the next day. Tyrell rang and advised his estimated time of arrival. I informed him side gate was open, dogs inside, come and start when ready. He arrived I think 730 and got to work with his apprentice straight away. I came outside later, telling them I'm alive and to say hello and if they need me to give me a shout at the back door. The rest of the time, I heard them working away doing what was needed. I once again went outside to see if all was well. Ty told me it all done!! He came inside tested the taps, had tested gas connection and showed me how to clean the kitchen tap that had build up. Ty has a very affable personality, is helpful with advice and competent with his work. They are great qualities when dealing with customers of an "older" demographic. I'm sorry I can't remember the apprentice's name but he was also respectful. I was very impressed with both lads. 10/10. I've been told if there are any problems to ring them. I will! Overall my interactions with all 3 employees has been excellent.

Bryan WhittakerHad them come out and clean my underground pipes where the guy did a great job and pulled out a 5 metre long bunched up set of roots from the trees outside. Then called then again to do another job and they wouldn't apply the discount that was due. Receptionist told me there was no supervisor or manager that I could speak to regarding this situation which is just ridiculous.. Now an item from the second job is faulty and they will not do anything to help me. I have to find out myself who the manufacturer is and sort it out with them. Not a bit of help at all from Same Day Trades. YOU ARE NOT A FRIENDLY OR HELPFUL BUNCH OF RECEPTIONISTS so all my recommendations have certainly gone elsewhere. SHAME ON YOU !!!
